Extendable dining tables have been selling like fresh cakes recently. Since one of the greatest furniture shopping centre started selling them a couple of years ago, a lot of people have decided to purchase such a table. And it"s not only for the dining room. I"ve heard of a lot of creative ways of using extendable dining tables. For example, one of my friends uses it for playing tables tennis. One of my neighbours enlarges the table and makes an art class for her three children. I"ve also heard of tailors working at large tables like these. It"s simply more comfortable and it gives you a lot of space on the top of the table. At my workplace we also use a table like that, but it"s for completely different purposes. Every day, we gather in one room during the break. There we sit at one of those extendable dining tables and read newspapers, drink coffee, talk to each other, listen to the radio, laugh, tell stories, share news and do lots of other things. The table is a bit enlarged to accommodate ten people. But when we have a meeting or a presentation, or when we invite some guests from other companies, we have to enlarge the table even more. Fortunately, it"s so big that it can accommodate up to twenty people.
